Incorrect Tax Table Used

I have made an error and registered and paid an employee as a Working Holiday Maker Registered from 10 Feb 2025. The employee informed me of the error and I changed to correct Tax Free Threshold on the 21 July 2025.

The employee cannot complete tax return until I correct the error.

I have Un finalised the 24/25 Tax Year for that employee and now need to update to the correct Tax table. Do i need to reverse each weekly pay and re enter with correct tax table or is there an easier way.

    Thank you for explaining what’s happening with payroll, and I apologize for the late reply.

    If the wrong tax table was used in earlier pay runs, you’ve got a couple of options:

    • You can lodge it manually.
    • Or, as you mentioned, reverse those pay runs and re‑enter them in the file.
