New Tax Tables 2023-2024

Tax tables do not load until you start processing payroll with a payment date in July. MYOB then changes the payroll year to 2024 and loads the new tax tables. You will see this on the Payroll processing screen after you click Next.

I've just processed my final payroll (24th June to 7th July) with a payment date of 10th July.  I've also completed all the EOPY tasks and reported STP.  

The tax table is still showing as 1/7/2022

Based on what you advised, given my payment date was 10/7/23, I assume the tax table should have updated.

Any idea on why it hasn't?

Thanks for your post.

As mentioned by Gavin, the Tax table revision date will be updated if a pay run has a payment date of the new payroll year.  To check it, kindly go to Payroll > Process Payroll > Employees pay, it should show up the Tax table revision date as 01/07/2023. Please refer to the screenshot below.

Thanks for your reply.  I'm not sure which version of MYOB that screen shot is for, but I'm using MYOB Business.  You should be able to see the screen shot that I included in my original post.  

The tax revision table date is found in the Payroll Settings under the business name menu.  You can see clearly is still shows as 2022.  As my pay run yesterday was dated 10/7/23, I thought that this should have been updated.  

How do I get this table to update BEFORE my next payrun as that will 100% have to be using the new tax table.

Kindly log out then log back into your account and check if the tax table revision date has already been updated. As per checking on our end, it already shows 01/07/2023. Please refer to the screenshot below.
