I have moved to the web browser to run timesheets and payrolls, gives better reports and shows the total net pay for the whole of the run. I have just realized that the browser doesn't warn you if your staff have not enough leave available - like desktop version does. You have to go to each staff card to check yourself. Be careful when running pays

Thanks for your post. The AccountRight desktop and browser sync data immediately so you can process the pay runs in the desktop and run reports from the browser. You can even start a pay run in the desktop, save and close, then complete it in the browser.
In the desktop application the Total net pay is displayed in Step 2 Employee Pays and Step 3 Process Payments.
In the browser, hover your mouse over the information icon to see the employee's leave balances:
