Payroll - timesheet issue - some timesheets being omitted from pays

We seem to have an issue that sometimes occures with our payroll processing. Timesheets are syncing from our roster/timesheet software provider (MYP) across to MYOB, however, they remained black not greyed therefore those hours were not paid to the employee. We cannot work out why they are not processing with the pay run? Some hours for a particular employee were paid, but not all? We lodged issue this with our roster/timesheet software provider MYP but they their response was: "If the timesheet is in MYOB as black, it means that it has come across from MYP, but haven't been locked by your payroll yet. Timesheets turn grey in MYOB once they are locked by payroll".

From my understanding, timesheets are greyed once they are processed in the pay run?

Any recommendations or advice on why this might be occurring would be much appreicated.

Thanks

    Hi CLPKerri1

Thank you for your post. May I extend a warm welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.

The black hours are probably available hours. As long as you can do the pay run from that timesheet then that's good. You are also right with what you've mentioned, which is that greyed hours mean they have been processed already.

You can also run an Unprocessed Timesheet report to see what timesheets have been imported.

    1. Go to the Reports menu and select Index to Reports. The Index to Reports window appears.
    2. Click the Payroll tab. A list of report headings appears.
    3. Click Employees. A list of reports appears.
      • Timesheets—to view all timesheets entered for a specific week.
      • Unprocessed Timesheets—to view all unprocessed timesheets.

Please feel free to post again. I'm happy to assist further.
