MYOB JustInvoices Product Serial Number

Hi,

 

I have a laptop with JustInvoices installed and it recently became unable to start. None of the repair methods worked, and upon attempting to reinstall JustInvoices, it requested the Product Serial Number. I don't have the original installation media, but have seen that other users who have posted in these forums have been able to recover the serial number through MYOB support.

 

Please let me know if this is possible.

    Hey DavidOHara,

     

    There isn't an option to process migration data from JustInvoices to other MYOB products. So data can’t be transferred across products and would need to be kept separately or re‑entered if you move platforms.

    Is there any process for migrating the data in a JustInvoices data file (.ddb) to one of these new platforms?

    Hi DavidOHara

     

    Just a quick heads up that MYOB JustInvoices is now a legacy product, and the old systems we used to access details like serial numbers are no longer available to support. Because of that, they won't be able to get it reinstalled or fully up and running on newer machines.

    The best move from here is to jump onto one of our current, supported products (like MYOB Business or AccountRight); they’re actively maintained and much easier to troubleshoot if anything comes up.
