Changing GL code linked to supplier card
I need to change the GL code that's currently linked to a supplier card. However, there're already past month transactions. Will this change of GL code not alter the GL postings of past transaction...

If you change the GL code linked to a supplier card, it won’t affect past transactions—those will stay linked to the original GL account. The change only applies to new transactions moving forward. If you need to move past transactions to the new GL account, you’ll have to do journal entries. We also recommend to check with your accountant to make sure everything is handled correctly.
