Closed business but still need access to MYOB data

Last year we closed out business.  It will be finalised and deregistered by our accountant after the end of this financial year.  I've still been paying for our full access to MYOB AccountRight ($165...

Hi Vicki,

 

Totally get why you’re worried about access after a business has stopped trading. Your data can still be restored and accessed by your accountant from a backup, even after you’re no longer actively using the file. Thanks Doreen.

But no-one will be able to edit the file for EOFY purposes after 17 June i.e. interest, depreciation, adjusting journals etc. at 30 June?  I suppose we will have no choice but to keep the file alive for at least another month.

    Hi vicki​ , this is incorrect
    You can continue to use your file offline by installing AccountRight server edition. Or an older version of PC edition (prior to 2026.5).
