Log -in and Managing File Confusion

I have been dealing with the company file for 20 years starting via desktop and later using both desktop and online Version, now on AR 2024.8.0

The original registration was done by a partner and while he is still around, he has never dealt with the software. The desktop log on and one online logon are under XYZ@something.com  and here I can access the normal daily data entry and management. 

 

However, for user management I had to use a different log-on as apparently this rego was only a user not owner.   I am able to log into this file and can see Online File Users and Online but on this part of MYOB it seems I can only invite someone else to become a user or administrator.  

 

I would like to access the site where I can see or set the rights of users, e.g. to make a new user "read only" if possible.  Apparently this is done via the online version when using administrator access.  As I have no online file with administrator access, I am running into brickwalls. Is there any way to fix this and streamline for me ?

    I am pleased to report that support managed to sort out this issue with the problem relating to having different profiles.
