I had the same issue yesterday. After a few attempts trying to login, I accidentally clicked on an older AccountRight version and was asked to update to version 26.2 which I did and then tried to login again. After putting through the login details on the browser login page thinking "here we go again", lo and behold it actually worked. The browser automatically closed and the desktop loaded as the message suggests. Doesn't sound like an official solution but it had worked for me.
