Each week, MYOB automatically backs up online company files that have had changes in the previous 7 days so you can relax knowing we're saving regular point-in-time versions of your online company file that you can roll back to if needed. You can also manually create online backups whenever you like and name them appropriately. These will be accessible along with the automatically created ones. More information on backing up your file can be found on this page.
Desktop users won't be able to backup offline or use offline mode from 17 June 2026. Future releases will only work with company files stored online.

further to MYOB advising that the server edition would be the solution for so many of us, I've downloaded it and now access my online and offline data files using the server edition.
I want to get ahead of the financial year end need your answer please
I have clients for whom I've kept data files online since 2018 to process payrolls only, and offline desktop files which hold all their day to day data. Each file has it's own serial number.
After I've processed the final payroll for the 25-26 financial year (which occurs after 17the June) can I upload the day to day data files online or will that be an issue as there are already files online with the same company names
