Hi q_man_snowflake,
Thanks for getting in touch. I understand you need urgent access to your company file. For security reasons, please don’t continue using the former employee’s login. Instead, use a current company email address that is already registered as a MYOB login. Alternatively, the file owner or an existing administrator can invite that email address to the company file.
You don’t need to back up your company file regularly, as MYOB automatically backs up your data online each week and retains the backups for six months. If you need to retrieve a backup, you can contact our support team through any of our available support options in our Contact page.
Cheers,
Princess

Morning Princess
I am an administrator and invited the new employee using the current company email address, but because the two factor login still goes back to the ex-employee mobile phone, we back in the position of not being able to sign into the company file once we do receive the code from her. It doesn't display. I feel it's because i cancelled her access.

Hi q_man_snowflake,
Thanks for clarifying. It looks like the email address has been updated, but the 2FA is still linked to the former employee’s mobile number.
The new employee will need to contact MYOB Support directly so the account can be verified and the 2FA reset. After the reset, they can set up 2FA using their own details.
