Sale transactions not listed

I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with this,

 

I have three AccountRight Files, one online for our business and two that I use just on my desktop for personal and family trust transactions.  I tried to process a sale via one of the desktop files today for the 4th January and the transaction is not in the list or any of the reports.  It does not show against the supplier in transactions either.  It's as if the sale was never processed.  I have repeated process the same way I always do multiple times but there is nothing showing for January.

I have checked that I changed the year date and not accidently processed Jan 2025.  I am including January 2026 in the date range.  December transactions are listed.

I processed a sale in my other desktop file in exactly the same way and that sale is showing fine.  My online file is also fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can check?

    Hi JanIne_S

     

    That does sound a bit strange when you’re recording sales, and nothing is showing up in the file. A couple of quick things I’d try:

    • First, record a different type of transaction (or a small test one) just to see if any new transactions are actually posting in that file.
    • Then open the Journal Security Audit report to see if the transaction is being recorded at all after you hit Save/Record. That’ll tell you whether the file is capturing it in the background.

    If that still doesn’t clear it up, the best bet is to get in touch with our support team so they can take a closer look at the file. You can:

    • Log a support ticket through MyAccount, or
    • Jump on Live Chat via our virtual assistant MOCA.

    Hi Genreve,

     

    Thanks for coming back to me.  Yes it is very strange!

     

    As per your suggestion, I did another transaction and then checked the Journal Security Audit and there are no transactions for the session 01/01/2026 - today which confirms that nothing is being captured.

     

    Thankyou for your help, I will lodge a support ticket later today as per your advice.
