transitioning from network to online file - is it safe to test online file before going "live"?

We are migrating online from a networked environment to comply with STP2 and plan on being online Dec 2022

I have uploaded a copy of our network file online so that our users can get comfortable with the app online and also allow testing of our app that writes to myob. This online file is only for testing purposes to see that our app can still work with it and allow our users to test functionality online

I just want to get confirmation that this testing of the online file will not interfere with STP or anything else

Our users are not reporting STP of course but is it safe to create timesheets, invoices, run payroll as long as we dont report STP? i.e. it is essentially a "testing file" until such time we go online for real in December?
