Can we change XLT templates to XLTX?

New to AccountRight and my Windows 11 is blocking the excel reports that come out of AccountRight due to a policy which at this stage cannot be changed. Only allowed to open .xlsx files, and AccountR...

Hi Chris, yes it is Microsoft 365.

In File Block Settings, it is blocking all 97-2003 workbooks and templates and this cannot be changed by me or the administrator (I tried with our IT department). Most people are still on Windows 10 and don't have that problem, but since we will all upgrade to 11 anyhow, I needed a solution.

I got a response from MYOB Support saying that I cannot change .xlt to .xltx as AccountRight will not recognise the file - the only option is to change security policy. 

But I'm all ears if you have a workaround :)
