    Hi MYOB_rookie,

     

    The AccountRight desktop inventory Analyse report already includes the committed column, but I’ll also send you this handy info about filtering reports. Plus, I found a fantastic report that's perfect for what you need, the Stock on Hand report in the browser version. I really think this one will give you just the right data.

I ran the Item Register Summary report and you’re right—it does show how much is available to sell.
However, it doesn’t filter out items that are on customer orders (i.e., received but not yet invoiced).
Another way to put it is that it doesn’t exclude the committed stock.

 

I’m not sure whether there’s a report that can do this, or if I’d need to export the data and filter out the committed stock in a spreadsheet. Love to hear any suggestions you may have.

Hi MYOB_rookie,

 

Oh i missed that. I took another look, and I’m not totally sure the Item Analyse Inventory Summary will show exactly what you need, but it does list both committed stock and available stock info, so it could be worth trying out. If it doesn’t do the trick, then yes, the other way is to export the data to a spreadsheet and work from there.
