Error when creating a spend money transaction

**SORRY FIRST POST HERE...POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG BOARD!  DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF IT***

Good morning everyone...a little help would be appreciated!  Recently when I try to create a spend money transaction I get an error "one or more fields exceeds the maximum character limit" and no matter what I change I can't seem to make it work.  I have done all the obvious things like reducing the characters, changing the description etc but nothing seems to work.  At the moment, I can't create spend money transactions without getting this error.  Anyone else having this problem?
