    Hi PJS,

    Thank you for your post.

Here's some instructions on adding a shareholder to a client, from our Practice Support specialists:

    1. In AO Tax Manager, open the Company Client and go to the Associated tab.
    2. Select Add from the Task Bar to create this beneficiary again.
    3. Select Is Shareholder of/has Shareholder
    4. Click the Invert button.
The relationship inverts to Has Shareholder.
    5. Select the relevant contact from the Contact search.

Note: To select the contact click on the magnifying glass icon in the Contact field.

    1. Click OK to save the changes.
      A message appears:
The Relationship details required for Tax and Corporate Affairs must be entered in AO Classic.
Select the task 'Edit additional relationship details" to open the AO Classic Client > Relationship screen.
    2. Select the task Edit additional relationship details.
The AO Classic Client > Relationships screen opens.
    3. Click on the Associates tab, highlight each shareholder and tick the Tax Return option from the right hand side.

Hope this helps. Do let us know how you go and if you need further help.
