As mentioned in the error message, only ONE trustee in the family election schedule is allowed.
Should there be different trustees during the relevant period (from the election commencement to the time the return is lodged) compared to the time the return is lodged, e.g. the trustee entered has been replaced, and both trustees need to be entered in the return, only one of the trustees needs to be entered.
If you do want to include multiple trustees, the return cannot be lodged via PLS and will need to be lodged via paper instead - hence the rejection from the ATO.
