Calculated Statement Balance is incorrect

I  am having an issue with reconciling accounts.

The "paper" statement balance for March 2022 and calculated statement balance are different. I had had already this March staement back in May and I have a printed report that is from MYOB with correct calculated statement balance as per bank statement.

I have also  looked in "Find Transactions - Accounts" - and this also shows the correct reconciled figure that was done back in May. But when I go to re-reconcile March - the calculated statement balance is out by thousands.

Can the calculated statement balance be reset or something - as I cannot reconcile anything from March.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Community Forum. We are aware of a situation where the reconciliation balance can show incorrectly and it needs to be refreshed.

To do this you would enter the bank balance the same as the closing balance (so this way it will allow you to press reconcile). When doing this, make sure the date is in the future (e.g. 1/12/2023), then select reconcile. After it's reconciled, undo that reconciliation.

Doing this should refresh the system to show the correct last reconciliation date and amounts. If after trying that it still doesn't look right - then you would need to undo that reconciliation and keep going back until there is no out of balance - then re-reconcile those going forward.
