Importing a credit card statement

Hi

I am wanting to import a credit card statment into MYOB. Statements from CBA (Commonwealth Bank of Australia) can be exported in PDF or CSV format. I noticed that the importing a bank statemnt instructions state that the supporte file formats are OFX, QFX, QIF and OFC (which are not provided as options from our bank.

Are there any other options. What is suggusted ?

Also noticed that the instructions are specific to importing a bank statment and wondered if it was different when importing credit card statemens as step 4 would be difficult as the exported credit card statment does not have a closing balance.

4. In the Closing Statement Balance field, type the closing balance that appears on the statement your bank sent you.

Thanks

Marianne

    Hi MarianneR

    Thanks for posting.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties with importing bank files for your credit card. Unfortunately, we can't upload PDF or CSV files to AccountRight. I don't recommend this, but the only option you have if the bank does not produce any of the formats is to find a website that could convert the file.

Also, step 4 of the "Importing a bank statement" article refers to the amount you owe the bank from your credit card on that date.

Let us know if you require any further assistance. We're happy to help.

    Cheers,

    Genreve
