Merchant Deposit Deleted

I have a merchant deposit missing from the bank reconciliation for 30 July. The deposits were entered into Undeposited Funds and appear in the correct income accounts, and I can see them on the cash receipts journal. However, they are not showing up in the bank reconciliation and no longer in undeposited funds. It appears the merchant deposit has been accidentally deleted. It is about 12 deposits so I thought perhaps I could delete the deposits in the accounts, re-enter them in undeposited funds and prepare the merchant deposit, but the system will only let me 'reverse transactions' (even though I changed security preferences to allow for entries to be deleted). Not sure what else to do to fix this. Anyone able to help? TIA, Jackie

    Hi Jackie-AOTAS,

     

    I understand you’re trying to delete a merchant deposit in AccountRight desktop and need to know how to handle the linked transactions. You’ll need to delete the deposit transaction first, before deleting or editing any of the linked payment or merchant fee transactions. Once the correction is made, you can record the deposit again and match it to the bank feed. If the deposit has already been reconciled, you may need to undo that reconciliation before making the change.
