Thanks so much for your reply.
I just attempted to do Option 1 as you suggested and entered in the original sale date which was prior to the conversion date, but now I am unable to receipt the payment as at the actual date because it says I can't receive payments prior to the conversion date.
Do you know how I can fix this?

Sorry about the mix-up earlier. With option 1, transactions should ideally be recorded on the correct dates to ensure the year kicks off cleanly. However, since the conversion date can’t be changed, you can still record these transactions on or before the conversion date, but just a heads-up that the dates won’t show accurately in the ledger.
