Data import error

When importing an updated schedule of items for inventory, the error -9 appears with all records skipped during the import process. The error indicates a 'duplicate item number', all I want to do is update the Sell column to indicate that I sell these items and also the tax code on sales. I will later also want to update the selling price via the importing function. 

 

Please advise why am I getting this error and how do I fix it?

  • Hi NJ1 , welcome to the forum. When importing items, you can choose to reject duplicates (the default) or accept changes. You need to alter this option as in the screenshot below.
