Export budget reports to csv

Thanks for your post. We are aware of when choosing the CSV option in the Export menu on the Budget report, nothing happens in the browser version of AccountRight. At the moment our team is investigating this issue. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I have a confession - I'm actually using "MYOB Essentials Accounting + Payroll" and not "AccountRight" as per this forum path.  Sorry!  However the problem I'm experiencing seems to be exactly the same as the one described in the original post.

• I can create a budget
• I can see "Import" and "Export" buttons - both of which provide "CSV" as a file format option
• When I attempt to "Export to CSV" nothing happens
• When I attempt to "Import from CSV" I get taken to a screen which suggests I should export my current budget to create a CSV file and then edit from there - however that "Export to CSV" button doesn't work either!

Don't have a CSV file?

Export your current budget as a CSV file and use excel or similar to edit it.

Pretty frustrating, but I'm over it now. As long as this bug gets logged and addressed in time for my next round of budgeting I'll be happy!

In the absence of a budget "Export to CSV" is there somewhere else I can find the CSV file structure required for an "Import CSV" budget option?  That's what I really want to do, and "Export to CSV" is the only published option for defining the file structure.  Is there some doco elsewhere which I can use instead?

Thanks for your post. You could look at exporting the budget from the AccountRight sample file under File>>Import/Export Assistant>>Export Data>>Accounts>>Budgets.

Hi 

I am unable to export my budget to a CSV file.  I am using Account Right Web Browser version. 

I have tried creating a dummy GST clearing account and then exporting but still to no avail.

Is there any developments in fixing this issue?
