Export Function

Question

I have not performed the export data previously. We are putting a price increase in place in February 2026 so wanting to do a trial export and import of data.

I have instructions and have watched video but want to ask if I do an export of the sales item pricing does the system only take a copy or remove the current prices. I am wanting to do a trial run whilst other users are entering sales.

No worries at all, it’s a good thing to double‑check.
Exporting just takes a copy of the info out of your file; it doesn’t delete or remove anything. The only time you overwrite anything is when you import a file back in.
So you’re all good to do a trial export; it’ll only create a copy of what’s in your file, nothing will be cleared out or changed.
