I am getting an import error 4012 See attached I have exported an item already in use and used that as a template - hence believe all the account codes are in the import file

Thanks for sharing the error file. I see you've used the imported template and took the right steps to set it up, but there is just one detail causing the 4012 error. It points to an issue with the expense or cost-of-sales account. Please double-check that the account is already set up in MYOB and is a P&L account. Also, keep an eye on the format: imports can use a separator (e.g., 5-1100), but exports won't have one (e.g., 51000)
