Downsizing my MYOB Plan to Solo

I Think my friend has set me up on a plan which is too much for my small business.

I am an onsite manager and caretaker, generating 1 or 2 invoices a month, entering some expenses each month and require vehicle mileage monitoring.

How can I move my plan please?

    Based on what you've shared, it sounds like Solo could be a good fit,especially if you're only sending one or two invoices a month and want something simple to track your expenses. That said, there are a few trade-offs worth knowing up front, like how we handle vehicle kilometres.

     

    Solo doesn’t include a built-in logbook or auto-trip tracking. But if you’re using the ATO’s logbook method, you can absolutely keep using those compliant tools outside the app, then record the outcome in Solo. I need to emphasise that we always recommend having a quick chat with your accountant or bookkeeper for the official advice on how to record these for tax purposes — the Solo community team can't do advice, just friendly guidance.

     

    One other thing to note: if you do decide to switch from a different MYOB plan, there’s no direct data migration into Solo. It’s not impossible to get up and running, but there is a bit of manual setup involved at first.
