Hello, I have just signed up for Solo and am wondering if it’s possible to exclude bank transactions. I want to connect my bank account, but it’s a joint account and I don’t want to include certain transactions eg grocery shopping, wife’s spending, wife’s income etc or am I simply better off just manually recording income and expenses?

Right now, Solo doesn’t let you hide or exclude specific bank transactions, but there’s a workaround! When recording income or an expense, you can split the transaction and categorise parts of it as personal, so it doesn’t get counted towards your business totals. Super handy for joint accounts or mixed spending.
Just a heads-up: we don’t know your business inside and out, so it’s always a good idea to check with your accountant to make sure everything’s tracked correctly 💡
