How to allocate government levy

Hi all. 

I am totally new here (started running a small business) and learning everything from scratch.

I received an invoice from the Department of Home Affairs for TSS-SAF Levy Small Business Turnover and Nomination - Temporary Skill Shortage.

 

How and where should I record it?

    From a software perspective, if you need to pay a levy you could record a Spend money transaction or a Bill transaction. These Help Articles have detailed information on recording those transactions:

    You will need to speak to your accountant about the account to allocate the levy to and the tax code.
