There could be various reasons why bank feeds are prevented from being allocated to transactions. One possibility is that there might be a lock period set for the transaction date you’re trying to record. Alternatively, you can manually allocate the bank feeds as you mentioned, but rather than doing it from the bank feed window and try matching them to the recorded transactions instead.
