Bank rec - out of balance value cannot be located.

Hi, I was catching up on my bank statements until a month of Oct/Nov 23 where I was out of balance therefore could not reconcile yet all transactions and closing balance entered were correct.  I worked my way backwards on undoing the bank reconciliations to 30/6/2023.  When redoing the July 23 reconciliation it is still out with the same value from Oct 24.  I do not want to undo any further bank reconciliations as each month is the same value and nothing was edited or deleted prior to 30/6/2023.  How can I move forward and reconcile my bank when I cannot locate the out of balance value?

Thanks, Kim

  • Hi MALSKim,

Based on what you described, it sounds like some transactions might be hidden from the reconcile accounts window. You can follow the steps in this thread to reveal any hidden transactions and try reconciling your accounts again.

Thanks Earl_HD . I have tried the help page by undoing the previous reconciliations without success locating the issue. I will try the support service.
