Is anyone else having issues with bank recs? All my accounts reconciled last month. All the transactions showing for this month have been marked off and yet 2 of my 11 accounts don't reconcile. This is getting to be a regular thing and I am about to leave MYOB and find a software company that actually has software that works.
Multiple times the bank feed has missed transactions for whole days but this is not the case this time.

Unfortunately, all very common in both software packages - you can manually delete these if they are doubled up.
This is not 20/20 hindsight but the truth about auto bank feeds - they are Not bombproof and unless carefully watched and you download statements and check the transactions account balance against the statement - and highlight this on the statement as done and dusted - so that if they get out of balance you have a point to go back to.
This happened on AMEX and thousands of entries - a double feed - took a while to sort but eventually did.
AMEX does give you a running totally as does a bank statement - VISA ANZ and many other cards don't - they are much more difficult to fix - and you actually have to use a different method to balance things.
Personally, after using accounting packages for over 30 years, bank feeds are very problematic for the untrained and once they are wrong - which happens so easily they are a devil to fix.
