Hi, JWill
Thanks for your post, and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.
An out of balance will be caused by a problem in your current reconciliation or a previous reconciliation. To correct the situation, please see the Help Article: Fixing out of balance bank reconciliations for more information.

This automated response is not helpful.
My account balanced and was reconciled as at 31 July 2023. Since then it has not.
The last reconciled balance now never balances with the account balance. I have unreconciled back to 31/12/2021 as per your instructions without any resolve and I do not want to go back any further.
Was there an update in August 2023 that could have caused this system error?

Hi, JWill
Thanks for your response.
Kindly check the following on your end to correct the situation:
- Opening balances - check the opening balance of the bank account connected to the bank feeds to see if it was altered in any way.
- If the opening balances is all correct, you will need to manually undo reconciliation month by month simultaneously checking if all transactions are there, to narrow down which month needs to get fixed. Correct all missing/duplicate transactions.
If both these steps does not result in you finding the cause of the out of balance, please send send us your information through private message such as you serial number and business and we'll check your file internally in our end.
Let us know how it goes.
Best regards,
Doreen
