I have an asset category that I created a couple of days ago and nowI want to delete. According to the all the journals, there are no journal connected to thei category, however when I go to delete the category I get the following message
You can't delete a category with journal entries.

Sorry this is holding up your tidy-up. This can happen if a transaction was previously recorded against the category and later deleted. MYOB Business can still recognise that previous use and prevent the category from being deleted. That’s one possible explanation, rather than a confirmed cause for your category. If it’s never been used, please reach out through Contact Us so our support team can investigate why it’s being flagged. In the meantime, you can deactivate it instead:
This keeps its history while removing it from some selection lists. Our category guide covers this option.
