How do I record a cashed cheque when paying into the bank please?
I am paying into the bank and have some cheques that were cashed over the bar. How do I log them in receive money please?

Thanks for your post. Generally speaking, you would record the Receive money transaction the same as you would for the cash takings, just change the payment method to Cheque. The total of the cash Receive money plus cheque Receive money should equal the total bank deposit.
If you need further help with this can you please let me know what software you're using and how cash takings are normally recorded, eg, one Receive money transaction, split between different accounts, using Prepare Bank deposit.
