How to run a new bank rule manually? Existing unallocated transactions not being auto allocated when new rule created.

this didn't answer the question

How can you allocate a rule to multiple entries. I have imported a qif, the rules made (all with automatic) didn't allocate automatically. the link to the user guide doesn't say how do this is bulk?

 

also why would an import not auto allocate?

Hi ADG001,

 

Sorry to hear we've missed the mark with our previous answer.

 

You have the option to search within the Bank Transactions screen to find similar transactions, then select all and categorise from there.
