New Bank Feed

Extreme screen overload in the new bank feed screen. What on earth made you think filling every inch of the screen was an improvement? The previous layout was sleek, efficient, and worked exactly as it needed to.

Now it’s a cluttered mess where the important information gets lost, and quick allocations take twice as long because there’s no clear focal point. It feels like usability and workflow were completely ignored in favour of unnecessary redesigns.

Thanks for not considering the end users — I guess it was nice to give the coders something else to play with.

  • It has taken me over an hour to endeavour to reconcile 11 items on my bank feed. I click on "matching existing record" and then type my information in the search window for the required info to come up for me to reconcile the funds to and this process sometimes does not even work and when it does, it takes ages for the info to show on my screen!! This delay has been since they have done their unecessary "update" on the banking feed. I have hundreds of invoices in my system and it's an obvious selection to use the search window to reduce the list in order for me to find the relevant invoice to reconcile to. Rather than trying to fix something that was not broken in the first place, why doesn't MYOB fix their other problems that seem to have not been dealt with for a lengthy period of time. Yes, I have made a formal complaint about this latest issue. MYOB seem to enjoy annoying business owners with their product that is becoming more inferior as the subscription costs increase. How about really thinking about your new whizz bang ideas around your boardroom table before you execute them. Not a good look.

Maybe you can fix the printing of invoices down to 2 clicks instead of 5, rather than making bank reconciliations slower.

And how do we turn off automatic and "Logic" items - logic is useless when not showing all inv details - ie name amount of inv

  • This is the worst UX change I have ever seen on any software platform. Ever.

The bank transaction description now wraps across five to six lines because you have shoved a massive search bar in the middle of the table AND given the History and Accept buttons their own column taking up a third of the screen. Those buttons could have just sat under the match result. Instead you have made the one thing I actually need to read completely unreadable.

I have had to open browser developer tools and write custom CSS just to make this page usable. A paying subscriber. Doing their BAS. Writing CSS to undo your design decisions. That is not a workaround. That is a UX catastrophe.

Nobody asked for AI matching. I need to search by supplier, select, assign, done. That's it.

Please either revert this or give us a compact view toggle.

One money column for bank transactions is doing my head in.

It seems pretty obvious the developers don't actually use the program from a business sense, as the "improvements" take longer to use
