Bank Feeds-Online Banking

Hi everyone, Warm greetings from Papua New Guinea.

I have a few questions regarding MYOB AccountRight and would appreciate your assistance:

  1. I was unable to connect my Bank South Pacific (BSP) bank account because BSP is not included in the list of available banks. How can I connect my BSP account or import its bank transactions into MYOB?
  2. What is the current monthly subscription price for an MYOB AccountRight Plus licence?
  3. My reporting currency is Papua New Guinea Kina (PGK). How can I change the currency symbol in MYOB from dollars ($) to Kina (K or PGK)?

Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Gunua Paul

  • Hi GunuaPaul1989,

Warm greetings to Papua New Guinea, and thanks for your questions about AccountRight.

If Bank South Pacific (BSP) isn’t showing in the bank list, it can’t currently be connected through MYOB Bank Feeds. You can still bring the transactions into AccountRight by downloading a QIF or OFX statement from BSP and importing it into your company file. This guide may help: Import bank and credit card statements.

For the current AccountRight Plus subscription price, you can check myob.com/pricing. As the file is being used in Papua New Guinea, the applicable price may depend on the account setup, region and any discounts.

For the currency, AccountRight Plus doesn’t allow the dollar symbol to be changed to PGK or K. Working with currencies such as PGK requires the multi-currency feature, which is available in AccountRight Premier. You can read more here: Working with multiple currencies

    Regards,

    Sai
