Thanks for that, but sounds like I didn't explain myself too well. Basically, when I want to enter a new bill from Telstra for example by using "Prefill from Recurring" it brings up the original template instead of the last bill I entered for Telstra. Do I just need to save every Telstra bill I enter as recurring to have a template of the last bill? I will end up with lots of templates for Telstra. I wish it could automatically update/over-ride the template to show my last bill with the most current information.
Hi NicoleCC,
That makes sense, and yes, I understand what you mean now. In MYOB Business Pro, recurring transactions work differently from AccountRight. When you use Prefill from Recurring, it pulls the saved template, not the last bill you entered. Any changes you make to that bill only apply to that transaction and won’t update the recurring template. If you want the template updated for next time, you’ll need to edit it manually under Banking > Recurring transactions.
Cheers,
Princess
