Recurring Transactions
I would like to lodge a complaint, an item for MYOB to look into please. In AccountRight when generating a Recurring Transaction you had 3 option (cannot recall all three) whether the transaction is...
Hi PPHAccs,
I understand how important to amend the recurring transaction and how efficient it is to have control over when these transactions are recorded, especially to ensure accurate invoicing and financial reporting. There is an option to edit your recurring transactions. You can do this by going to Invoices section. From there, click the three dots at the top right and select Recurring Invoices. This will allow you to manage and adjust your recurring transactions as needed, which may help in preventing the issues you've been experiencing with auto recording.

Thank you Sai for responding. I know how to access recurring transactions. You can also arrive at the same point by going to Banking and Recurring Transactions and selecting the invoice recurring tranaction. My point was not accessing the recurring transaction but the ability to amend the rules for the transaction. In AccountRight you could select automatic recording (which I never did, I like to record the transaction with correct date and amount), this feature is NOT in MYOB Online Business but the recurring transactions are now auto recording each month and there is no way to change this in new online software.
Hi PPHAccs ,
I see you are trying to setup your recurring transactions to be a template that you manually record. In my understanding, you can set the frequency of the recurring transaction to never to avoid it from automatically creating transactions. You can then proceed in your usual routine previously in AccountRight.
It will look similar to this screenshot.
Let us know if you need any other help.
Thanks,

Hi Genreve
I appreciate you trying to assist me and the suggestion and will try this for future transactions. However, I have other invoice recurring transactions (that were also set up in AccountRight and transitioned across) that do not automatically record each month as you can see in the screenshot below as they are overdue by xxx days. My point was that some were auto recording and I did not have the same functionality as AR to edit the auto record feature.
I have been told by MYOB support, there is no way to correct the error so I am having to delete my recurring transactions.
My original post was to make Online Business have the same functionality as AR if sales people were encouraging you to transition across.
Thank you.
