Using recurring transactions

Hi allbeen

New to MYOB Lite post conversion. 90% of the work in the file is done via recurring transactions and its worked really well for years. I can see the recurring and can update them. When I use the recurring via the relevant screens the system does not update the next due date and they remain on the old date and all overdue.

Am I missing something or is this a system limitation. Its the same for all transactions, bills, invoices, payments etc

Any ideas? Logged a case with MYOB but its been 2 weeks and no response.

Thanks

    Hi John21,

You’re not missing a step here. In MYOB Business, the Next due date generally only updates when the recurring transaction is created by the automated recurring schedule.

If the transaction is created manually from the recurring template, the Next due date does not update.

As you’ve already raised a case, support can also check whether there’s anything file-specific affecting it. We’re currently experiencing longer-than-usual wait times in our support channels, and we appreciate your patience.

    Regards,
