Sales Orders Account Right converting to MYOB Pro

Hi MYOB Community,

 

I am hoping you can help me.  We have in the past week converted ten company files from Account Right Desktop version to MYOB Pro.  All have converted across without issues bar one.  We use items for sales / purchases in one company and we are getting error messages saying that the sales order is not support and to revert back to Account Right.   We do not use inventory, just the codes and sales orders converting to Purchase Orders.  The below is from one of the staff using this company.

 

  • There are some I have been able to invoice but not generate the bill of sale. The error message that I get in these cases is - This purchase order is read only - Switch to Account Right.
  • I am also unable to convert a sales order into a purchase order 

  • It seems I can convert a quote into a sales order, but from a sales order I cannot convert to a purchase order
  • The error I am getting for some sales orders is – cannot convert a sales order - revert to Account Right

I have been on the phone with offshore support today.  They advised to add Inventory to the package for this company which I have done.  It has not made any difference to the existing sales orders in the MYOB Pro file.  This also conflicts with the information received by the team handling the conversion of the files.

 

Has anyone experienced a similar problem when converting?  I am worried that I will need to revert back to Account Right as we have been using the file live for a week, bank statements, sales invoices etc.  

 

Any assistance on this would be greatly received.
