Updating items to use stock tracking

Hi, I've printed out the "updating items to use stock tracking" instructions, I have become a bit stuck.

Followed the instructions and made a excel file and added old to ID and saved it as "Inactive item import" but there is no where that states once you have created this to upload it back into MYOB.

I'm presuming I do (but not sure when, before I upload the updated import?)  and also create a spreadsheet called "Updated Item Import" which it does state to uploaded

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks Chris but this doesn't answer my question

    Do I import the excel spreadsheet 'inactive item Import' back into Myob (once altered with inactive and added old to ID number) before I import the 'Updated item import (with I entered)?

    Well done in getting this far
    You seem ready to import the spreadsheet under business settings (top right)
    See below image showing selection of import and items
    Choose option of browse files to selection your spreadsheet

    Recommend to check your spreadsheet is saved as a TXT file for import
    Also if you have not used the item template, recommend to view the template against your spreadsheet to ensure you have all the correct headers
