Customer entity name exceeds maximum character limit

Hi, I have a customer with an entity name longer than the permissable 50 characters. They need to correct entity to show on the invoice. Is there a way I can make this happen?

Is there an update on when this request will be implemented?  I have the same issue.  I  have to issue the invoice in two company names.
