Non-Cash Donation Receipt Record Keeping
Hi,
We receive both cash and non-cash donation in our non for Profit organisation.
Non-cash donations are in the form of groceries from IGA. How would I record that in MYOB.

Because this is a non-cash donation, it’d usually be recorded as a General Journal rather than Receive Money or Spend Money, since there’s no bank transaction behind it.
You’ll just want to check with your accountant which accounts to use for the groceries and the donation side of it.
Once that’s confirmed, you can enter it as a journal entry in the software.
