Base Hourly pay item

Hi, just started using payroll and the base hourly pay item has ETP locked in and I can’t change it so it thinks I’m terminating employees when I go to Dona papyrus and wants an etp code.

 

how do I change the ato code from ETP as this is not highlighted and won’t allow me to change????

aarrgghh!!!!!

      Hi Smoothiebar24,

      Thanks for your detailed post. The cause of this issue might be that you accidentally assigned a payroll category to an ETP component. To fix this, if you have processed any pay runs while the payroll category was incorrectly assigned to the ETP component, you will need to reverse these pay runs to remove the amount reported to the ETP component.

        I haven't processed any as yet I just need to know how to change the category as it won't allow me to change from ETP so it wants to terminate every employee rather than be a gross payment.
