forgot to close STP 2026 Payroll year

Hi there,

I've had a moment of oversight. I forgot to close out 2026FY STP payroll year before processing the 1st pay of 2027FY dated 1st Jul. After sending out the STP reporting and super of 26/27 1st pay, I clicked the Payroll Reporting Centre to double check the reporting result then realize I can't see 26-27FY report details. I have checked 25-26FY payroll details and finalised 26FY STP, but still can not see 26/27FY reporting details.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do in this situation?

    Hi Fay

    My understanding is that finalising 2026 can be done even after a July payroll is run, as long as its done by 14 July. 
    I have also run a 1 July payroll today and cannot see 2026/2027  to select either. Apparently the drop down menu only ever shows 2 years. So explains why we cant see it yet. Am hoping it appears tomorrow 1/7 and  STP has reported ok. If it not there it would usually mean I will need to be running an update event to get it through.
    The payslips show correct YTD info with just the one pay included.

    I am having the same issue and still can't see the payrun in STP reporting now it is the 01/07/26.  It still only shows the previous two FYs in the drop down box.   I got the final indicator ticks against all the 25/26 employee names and thought that was all I needed to do. Is there a way to close a payroll year or start a new payroll year?

    Try STP again now. 2026/2027 should be showing!
