Every year our Accountant asks for a Leave Liability report with a date range from 01/04 to 02/06. When I create this payroll report it asks for a specific date only.
Is there a way to get a date range which shows leave owing for different dates as well as the dollar value?

That would be a handy improvement, especially when you’re trying to pull a clean figure for a specific date range without bouncing through a stack of reports. There hasn’t been any information shared about Leave Liability report being changed. It’d be a great one to post on the MYOB Business Ideas Exchange board so the product team can see there’s demand for it.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like a lot of reports to be run on the information you suggested. My Accountant has asked for a date range of 01 April to 02 June - over 60 days! (unless I have misunderstood your suggestion). The Leave Liability Report is good in as much as there is a total value of liability. Is this a change that MYOB could consider please?

Great question! At the moment, the Leave Liability report only works as a snapshot for one specific date, so it can’t be run across a date range. A good way around that is to run the report for each date your accountant needs, then use the Leave Transactions report to see what changed across the period, including accruals, leave taken, and adjustments.
