Long service leave payments

When an employee takes long service leave and is paid the amount in a lump sum but not terminated is this shown as a Lump Sum A on payment summary

    Hi Fisher,

     

    Paying Long Service Leave as a lump sum while the employee is still working mostly depends on the ATO reporting category you’ve set for that pay item. This category decides how it’ll show up in the employee’s payment summary. It’s best to check the correct reporting category for LSL lump sum payments with the ATO or your accountant to make sure everything’s correct.
