MYOB Teams - User Updates

Hi, one of our employees recently moved homes and has updated their address on the MYOB Team App.  When they have entered the suburb, they have used an apostrophe. 

 

No probelm in the Teams App, but its has caused me all sorts of problems processing the pays and STP reporting. 

 

The ATO does not allow special charachters, such as apostrophes in STP reporting, so why can an employee enter special charachters in Teams?    Its seems to me, that the Teams App shouldn't allow users to enter special charachters, so that the information can flow correctly to those processing payroll and STP.

    MYOB Team allows the employee to conveniently edit their personal details, such as name, phone number, address, and bank details. Kindly check this article from the ATO website regarding the apostrophe's inclusion, and that includes the accepted special characters. May I also know what is the error message that you are having for further investigation.

     

    Feel free to write a post if you need further investigation.
